The Dual Light function allows the camera when in night mode (with IR on) to activate its white light to record in color when an event occurs (motion detection, line crossing, area entry). The white light activation communication only works in TVI (TURBOHD) mode and with recorders with firmware versions 4.26 or higher.
IR Light On
In the absence of a vehicle or person, the camera uses only IR light.
LED Light On
When a vehicle or person is detected, the white light is automatically activated, producing vivid color images with clear details.
IR Light On
Once the vehicle or person leaves, the cameras automatically return to IR light.
